| Italian Biscotti - Cookie Recipe |

| Italian Biscotti
1 cup margarine
1-1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp anise
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 cup chopped roasted almonds
Cream first 5 ingredients until light, add sifted dry ingredients; mix well and add nuts.
On 2 greased cookie sheets, spoon 2 rows, lengthwise on each sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cut diagonally ¾-inch slices, place cut side down, return to oven and bake until golden brown. Makes 4 dozen. |
