Brussels Sprouts in Brown Butter - Vegetable Recipe
Brussels Sprouts in Brown Butter 1-1/2 lb Brussels sprouts 3 tbsp butter or margarine 1 tbsp lemon juice Trim the outer leaves from Brussels sprouts and wash the sprouts carefully. Cook the sprouts in boiling, salted water to cover for 15 to 20 minutes or until they are tender when tested with the point of a sharp knife. Drain them well. In a small saucepan, heat butter or margarine until it begins to brown. Stir in lemon juice and pour the butter mixture over the hot sprouts. Serves 6.
