| Baked Fish Steak
2 pounds Cod or Halibut steak
¼ cup butter, melted
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp onion, minced
½ tsp salt
Flour
¼ cup parsley, finely chopped
Wipe the fish, remove any bones, and cut it into pieces for serving. To the melted butter add the lemon juice, minced onion and salt. Dip each piece of fish in this mixture, roll and fasten with a toothpick.
Put the fish rolls in a greased, shallow baking dish, sprinkle with flour, and pour the rest of the butter over the fish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes. If not sufficiently browned, put under the broiler oven. Sprinkle the parsley over the fish and serve. |
