| Tarragon-Garlic Shrimp - Marinated
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and de-veined
2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon leaves
2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic (about 6 large cloves)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 sprig of tarragon (reserved for garnish)
Clean shrimp and measure out herbs and spices. In a large sauté pan, place shrimp, herbs, spices and olive oil over the lowest heat setting. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat once shrimp whiten and become opaque. Season to taste with salt and black pepper and serve immediately. |
